Sunday, April 18, 2010, 11:15 AM - Prost AP03
After several curbside projects in the past 4 yrs (well except the commissioned build of 1/12 F1-2000), I am searching for next subject. I want to build something blue this time. I have been thinking about doing the Leyton House.. but also like to do something a bit 'modern' F1. I think I am going to try my hand on converting a MP4/13 into Prost AP03. AP03 did very bad in 2000 season, but it has the richest sponsorship that year.. including French tobacco and Yahoo!.. and the blue looks cool!
This won't be a super detailed one like my Ferraris, but I will try to display the engine details this time at least. Don't want to spend too much time before my interest fades out on a subject.

Just got a chance to take some photos for my McLaren MP4/7 Honda that I built back in 1998... 12 yrs ago!!! Back then, I knew nothing about carbon fiber decal, aftermarket seat belts or photo etched parts.. and that was the 1st time I tried on paint polishing... This one took 2nd place in 99 Tamiya/Con 1/20 Formula Car category. Enjoys,

One attractive part of F1 cars is their color and sponsors scheme... You can view it as arts... For some reason, I feel F1 does spend a lot of attention in this area... that something I hardly see in US Indy car or even Nascar.I put the Jaguar R1 (green), Jordan J199 (yellow) and Minardi M193 (white) together and shot some photos. It turned out to be quite cool
Enjoys,

Last Monday was holiday here. So I took the opportunity to do a quick build on Revell 1/20 McLaren MP4/20... No paint whatsoever.. The fit on this car is terrible... Body shape.. hmmm.. I think it is quite inaccurate... anyway here you go..Now I got the spare decal for FW23 and MP4/20 up for sale.. Email me at wilchan88@yahoo.com if interested.
